Did you know Hans Egede, a Christian missionary to Greenland, wrote about a sea monster with its head raised to the level of his ship, a long and sharp snout, and large broad paws in 1734?  In 1810, a brother and a sister from England discovered fossils of a creature resembling the “sea monster” that missionary Hans Egede recorded.  Let’s explore “sea monsters,” marine dinosaurs, or primeval reptiles through fun Marine Dinosaur Worksheets for kids

Apologia Science Review

The Sea Turtle Worksheets are made to accompany Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day.  What we love about Apologia’s Explorer Series is the Biblical worldview.  It is also a very thorough science curriculum that provides in-depth information.  The book is written in a conversational tone, and you can read the text without much preparation.  Honestly, I simply love no-prep curriculums because I don’t really have time to do much preparation.

Creationist Worldview Resources

Sadly, evolution has become facts rather than hypotheses on many well-publicized websites and is leading the new generation astray.  As Christians, we ought to present both worldviews and let young leaders think critically and analyze what they will believe instead of being told as facts, just to realize that they were misled into atheism.

  • Answers in Genesis
An apologetic ministry that helps Christians defend the faith and provide answers to key issues such as creation, evolution, science, and the age of the earth.
  • Debunking Evolution Series by Awesome Sci TV
Truly awesome resource on debunking evolution
  • Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis
12-episode DVD series that explores scientific evidence that confirms the biblical account of creation
  • Jonathan Park Audio Adventures
My kids love to listened to Jonathan Park during a road trip.  It sparks kids’ imagination through exciting adventures while detailed explanation of evidences of God’s amazing creation!

Marine Dinosaur Worksheets

I love reading Apologia Science to my kids.  But somehow notebooking journals didn’t work out for our family.  My kids wanted to answer questions from what they heard, and I also wanted to reinforce the materials that we just covered.  If you are looking to support your learning from Apologia Science or support learning fun facts about marine dinosaurs or primeval reptiles, I hope that the Marine Dinosaur Worksheets that I created can work for your family!  For Marine Dinosaur Worksheets, click on the image below!
